Bands make a killing from live music. Think about it, Silverchair sell 8,000 tickets, 60 bucks each (they make half, promoters make half)
The only people directly affected by music downloads are major record labels.The same labels which have killed the industry, and milked it for every penny that it's worth,and now finally they can't rake more profits, at the expense of releasing quality music for the right reasons,and there crying wolf. Screw the parasitic music industry
